Why Participate?

Key Details:

Auditions for Dancers (Ages 3–18)

Audition Date: February 1st at Elevate Motion Studio
Mandatory Free Prep Classes: Dancers must attend at least one free prep class before auditions; more are encouraged.
Rehearsals: Held weekly on the same schedule as our prep classes and staring after February 1.
Dress Rehearsal: April 1st, time tba (dancers will get a school note)
Performance Date: April 1st

Note: Due to spring break, rehearsals between March 21 and March 31 are highly encouraged, but not mandatory.

Prep Classes are the first step!

✔️ Sign up for at least ONE free prep class in your child's age group. (The more, the better!)

✔️ They'll learn the audition choreography & get expert tips.

✔️ Registering lets us know they're interested! We'll add them to our audition list and keep you in the loop.

Auditions will be held between 3PM and 5PM. Your child will be assigned a specific time for their audition.

REQUIRED ATTIRE

Girls: Leotard, tights, well-fitted ballet slippers, hair swept up and back off face and in bun (we will provide a tutorial beforehand).

Boys: white t-shirt, black tights/shorts, well-fitted ballet slippers.

Audition Prep Clinics: Free
Audition Fee: $25
Production Fee: $100 (includes professional costume rental)
Dancers might* need to purchase:
- Tights
- Leotard (worn under the professional costume)
- Ballet Slippers

*This will depend on what the dancer already owns and what the dance company specifies for the particular part
